GERTRUDE NYAMBURA

Gertrude Nyambura is the founder of Chick Charm Hatchery where AI-powered hatching meets practical farming. Her mission is simple: every farmer, whether they keep twenty birds or two thousand, deserves healthy chicks and the knowledge to raise them well.
Chick Charm delivers to the farmer's doorstep, with every order bundled with vaccines against severe chicken diseases, so protection begins on day one.
In June 2026, Gertrude won the *Mizani Innovation Hub Award for the Most Economically Viable Project*, recognising a business that proves technology and agriculture can lift livelihoods.
An educator at heart, she turns complex ideas into practical lessons. At Mizani Innovation Hub, she mentors innovators in the Agritech Department and serves as Program Lead for MEAS, helping the next generation grow.
